We can provide panels ready to mount using glass or ceramic tessarae to suit any client's requirements on size, theme and colour. The kitchen cooker splashback on the right was created for a client using specific vintage crockery (seconds from her collection) interspersed with small fragments of mirror. As it was a panel rather than applied directly to the wall, she was able to take it with her when she moved house. The bathroom panels on the left provided a dramatic and exotic waterproof setting when a shower was added over the bath - far more fun than conventional tiling! The lower edge is made from Italian glass tessarae, some streaked with gold, while the main body of the panels are pique assiette and mirror. The curvature of the crockery gives an extra depth and sparkle to the design which was loosely based on the idea of fountains and sprays of water. The fragments contain plenty of tantalising detail to capture the imagination as you enjoy a long soak in the bath!
